The Excelsior Splendide Hotel is in the centre of Bellagio, one of the most famous villages in the Lake Como area. This comfortable hotel is furbished in the well-known liberty style and was originally built in 1907. Children under 11 years - free.* \n\n##Location\n Bellagio is known as the Pearl of the Lake'. This beautiful town enjoys a magnificent setting on the promontory dividing Lake Como from Lake Lecco. The tree-lined promenade dotted with attractive lakefront cafes, allow visitors to sit and admire the superb view. The historical town centre, elegant cafes, restaurants and charming shops attract visitors from all over the world. \nIn the summer months there is a whole range of water sports to choose from, as well as a lake-side Lido, while in the winter there are ski lifts on Monte San Primo. Bellagio is also served by an excellent ferry service and hydrofoil, which gives you easy access to all other parts of the Lake. Furthermore, the local public transport services opens up access to the rest of the city. \n\n##Accomodation\n There are 55 rooms in total spread across four floors. All guest rooms feature a phone, wake up calls, daily housekeeping, hair dryer, bidet and bathtub in the en-suite bathroom. \nFurther room features consist of a television with satellite channels, in-room safe, iron with ironing board on request, Wi-Fi and a beautiful lake and garden view. \n\n##Eating and Drinking\n Just across the road on the shores of the lake is the hotels popular cafe and terrace which is also a restaurant at lunchtime.
